This project explores motion graphics through a playful yet technically challenging brief: creating a lyric video inspired by the theme of dreams. Blending surreal visual language, rhythmic animation, and symbolic storytelling, the piece reimagines dream logic while experimenting with timing, transitions, and character-driven motion inspired by Alice in Wonderland.

Brief
Create a lyric video of a song of choice using after effects following a soecific theme. THEME : DREAMS
Concept
As the brief focused on dreams, I drew inspiration from the classic literary masterpiece Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll: a story I’ve always loved, and one that unfolds entirely within a dream.
My goal was to encapsulate symbolic elements from the narrative: a clock that never works, reflecting the absence of time in dreams; and the ever-running rabbit, representing curiosity and the pull toward the unknown.
The song’s rhythm reinforces this journey: almost like following the rabbit deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole, guided by instinct, movement, and the surreal logic of dreams.
The theme is also explored through digital illustrations created in Adobe Illustrator, then animated layer-by-layer in After Effects to bring a surreal dream world to life.
